Book shelf
Some great titles that you might want to read. All of these are on my bookshelf and I recommend these titles regularly.
Design, Usability
- Designing the Obvious, Robert Hoeckman Jr.
You should read this, and so should your boss. The only book I’ve ever recommended to the entire development team.
- Designing the Moment, Robert Hoeckman Jr.
The next in the series by Hoeckman Jr., a good read but if you’ve read the first one, you won’t need this one.
- Don’t Make Me Think!, Steve Krug
One of the staples in the genre.
ASP.NET (selected titles, too many to mention them all!)
- Professional ASP.NET MVC 1.0, Hanselman, Haack, Guthrie
- Professional ASP.NET 3.5: in C# and VB (Programmer to Programmer), Hanselman, Evjen and Rader
- Foundations of WF: an Introduction to Windows Workflow Foundation, Myers
Other Technology:
- Physical Computing, Tom Igoe
- Making Things Talk: Practical Methods for Connecting Physical Objects, Tom Igoe
